Background 

To incentivize repeat purchases of Mars & Wrigley products, a special pin code program was launched.

Strategy

Under the Collect & Get promotion, consumers purchased a participating product containing a pin code, and when a consumer accumulated up to eight pin codes, the codes can be submitted on a custom-branded mobile-optimized microsite and redeemed for two free movie tickets from Cineplex.

PLATFORM³’s Optical character recognition receipt scanning license provided the client with a way to engage consumers on their mobile device and gain shopper knowledge from receipt uploads.
