Background 

To give back to the local community and increase retailer sales in the mall, 3 tier logic worked with its client to launch the Earning 4 Learning promotion.

Strategy

To meet the client’s objective of giving back and increasing retailer sales in the mall, 3 tier logic used PLATFORM³ to configure a promotion, which leveraged PLATFORM³ modules including Contests & Promotions and Data Capture & Analytics.

Using a Facebook campaign as online activation, the desired audience was made aware of the promotion. Under the promotion, customers of GTC uploaded a photo of their dog(s) to the microsite for a chance to win the TOP DOG prize or have their dog featured in GTC’s 2016 calendar (proceeds went to the BC SPCA). The promotion also employed gamification; participants were encouraged to vote daily for a photo of their favourite dog. 3 tier logic incentivized participation, engagement, and sharing by rewarding consumers for participating, voting, and sharing on social media.
