Office Depot wielded the power of celebrity and teamed up with singer and actress Sabrina Carpenter for a “Back to School Proud” shopper marketing promotion. Under the promotion, consumers can enter into a sweepstakes to win a trip to meet Sabrina Carpenter and receive $500 spending cash. The promotional website also showcases an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the making of Carpenter’s “Almost Love” music video, an exclusive audio clip where she explains the creative process behind the song, and her Office Depot back-to-school picks.
Back to School with Meijer
Everyone loves a discount, and Meijer is showing some love to teachers this year with a back-to-school promotion that gives teachers (who show their school ID at a store’s customer service desk) 10% off their purchase of school or home office supplies. Brandon Pasch, Divisional Merchandising Manager of Office and Entertainment for Meijer said, “offering a discount throughout the entire back-to-school shopping season enables teachers to shop when it is convenient for them.
