Bimbo is a global consumer company and a leader in the banking industry, with world class distribution and extraordinary manufacturing capabilities.

In working with 3 tier logic, the objective of Bimbo Canada was to use the Sobey’s Dempster’s® & Ben’s® giveaway program to drive sales for its brand.

Strategy

3 tier logic used PLATFORM³ to create a skinny microsite for the Sobey’s Dempster’s® & Ben’s® giveaway program, which hosts various PLATFORM³ modules including Contests & Promotions, Purchase Receipt Validation, Rewards, and Data Capture & Analytics.

Under the promotion, consumers purchased a minimum of three participating Dempster’s® & Ben’s®  products at specified retailers in Canada to be eligible to receive a Peace Collective® toque, valued at $40.

Consumers could register on the microsite after making a qualifying purchase; after making a purchase, the consumer was required to take a picture of the purchase receipt and upload it on the microsite. Upon receipt validation, the consumers became eligible for their customized apron. Consumers were allowed to enter the promotion multiple times which increased sales and purchase frequency for Bimbo Canada.

3 tier logic leveraged PLATFORM³’s Purchase Receipt Validation module to provide our client with a way to engage consumers on their mobile device, and the Data Capture & Analytics module provided our clients with a wealth of valuable data by allowing them to gain shopper knowledge from receipt uploads.
