BUSH’S® is a family-owned corporation well-known for its canned baked beans. Their wide range of canned goods make it easy for shoppers to create tasty meals, and provides consumers with healthy and delicious snack options.

In working with 3 tier logic, BUSH’S® objective was to resolve consumer purchase issues. The Chili Rebate promotion drove brand engagement for BUSH’S® at select retailers in the United States by calling attention to their chili products. Shelf-talkers were in place to inform consumers of how to obtain their rebate of they were dissatisfied.

Strategy

3 tier logic used PLATFORM³ to create a skinny microsite for the BUSH’S® Chili Rebate promotion, which hosts various PLATFORM³ modules including Contests & Promotions, Purchase Receipt Validation, Rewards, and Data Capture & Analytics.

Under the promotion, consumers who purchased a can of BUSH’S® chili and were dissatisfied were able to receive a rebate coupon for any BUSH’S® product.

Consumers could register on the skinny microsite after making a qualifying purchase; after making a purchase, the consumer was required to take a picture of the purchase receipt and upload it on the microsite. Upon receipt validation, the consumers became eligible for their rebate coupon. Consumers were allowed to enter the promotion multiple times which promoted brand awareness.

3 tier logic leveraged PLATFORM³’s Purchase Receipt Validation module to provide our client with a way to engage consumers on their mobile device, and the Data Capture & Analytics module provided our clients with a wealth of valuable data by allowing them to gain shopper knowledge from receipt uploads.
