Grupo Bimbo is a global consumer company and a leader in the baking industry, with world class distribution and extraordinary manufacturing capabilities.

In working with 3 tier logic, the objective of Bimbo Canada was to use the Sobey’s Dempster’s® & Ben’s® giveaway program to drive sales for its brand.

3 tier logic used PLATFORM³ to create a skinny microsite for the Sobey’s Dempster’s®, Ben’s®, POM giveaway program, which hosts various PLATFORM³ modules including Contests & Promotions, Purchase Receipt Validation, Rewards, and Data Capture & Analytics.

Under the promotion, consumers purchased a minimum of one participating Dempster’s®, Ben’s®, or POM products at specified retailers in Canada to receive a sweepstakes entry for a chance to win 1 of 184 Broil King BBQ’s.

Consumers could register on the microsite after making a qualifying purchase; after making a purchase, the consumer was required to take a picture of the purchase receipt and upload it on the microsite. Upon receipt validation, the consumers became eligible for sweepstakes entry. Consumers were allowed to enter the promotion a maximum of 10 times per day, which increased sales and purchase frequency for Bimbo Canada.

3 tier logic leveraged PLATFORM³’s Purchase Receipt Validation module to provide our client with a way to engage consumers on their mobile device, and the Data Capture & Analytics module provided our clients with a wealth of valuable data by allowing them to gain shopper knowledge from receipt uploads.
