Founded in 1913 and presently distributing its products under a number of brands in more than 100 countries worldwide, The Clorox Company is a multinational company with $6.0 billion in sales (as of 2017). The Clorox Company markets cleaning and household products for consumers and professional services under well-known brands, such as: Pine-Sol® cleaners, Liquid Plumr® clog removers Glad® bags, wraps and containers, Brita® water-filtration products, Burt’s Bees® natural personal care products, and more. 

In partnering with 3 tier logic, The Clorox Company’s objective was to drive initial purchase and purchase frequency for its Glad® brand.

The “Glad® 2018 Gift With Purchase” promotion drives purchase frequency by encouraging those who are already customers of Glad® to make additional purchases to win a reward, and introduces Glad® to consumers that have not yet used products from the brand, incentivizing them to make an initial purchase.

3 tier logic used PLATFORM³ to create a microsite for the “Glad® 2018 Gift With Purchase” promotion. The microsite hosts various PLATFORM³ modules including Contests & Promotions, Purchase Receipt Validation, and Data Capture & Analytics.

Under the promotion, consumers purchase (2) two qualifyingGlad® Waste products in one transaction from any retailer such as Target or Kroger to receive a reward.

Consumers can register on the microsite before or after making a qualifying purchase; after making a purchase, the consumer is required to take a picture of the purchase receipt and upload it on the microsite. If consumers register before making a qualifying purchase, they can easily log on to the microsite at a future time when they purchase (2) two qualifying Glad® Waste products. Upon receipt validation, the consumers are rewarded with a $5 Virtual Visa Card.

3 tier logic utilized PLATFORM³’s Purchase Receipt Validation module to provide our client with a way to engage consumers on their mobile device, and the Data Capture & Analytics module to help our clients gain shopper knowledge from receipt uploads.
