Bayer Animal Health is a division of Bayer, a German multinational pharmaceutical and life sciences company specializing in pharmaceuticals, consumer healthcare products, and agricultural chemicals. Their products include food, vitamin supplements, flea and lice protection, and pain management for cats and dogs. Spider Marketing and their client, Bayer, partnered with 3 tier logic to launch their national ‘No Bite Is Right’ gift with purchase program, exclusive to consumers in Canada and Advantage products.

Strategy

3 tier logic used PLATFORM³ to create a microsite for Bayer Animal Health’s ‘No Bite Is Right’ gift with purchase promotion, leveraging the following modules:

  • Contests and Promotions

  • Purchase Receipt Validation

  • Gift Cards & Rewards

  • Data Capture & Analytics

When consumers purchase a 4-pack or 6-pack of qualifying Advantage products from participating veterinary clinics or MyVetStore’s website, they are eligible to receive a $10 PayPal or cheque reward. Through the Purchase Receipt Validation technology on PLATFORM³, customers can validate their purchase by registering and uploading a picture of their receipt to the promotion microsite. Once their purchase has been validated, customers receive an email to confirm their reward and their preferred redemption method (i.e. PayPal or cheque). Consumers were able to validate up to two receipts for a maximum of two rewards. 3 tier logic procured and fulfilled the PayPal rewards, while Bayer fulfilled the cheque rewards.

With 3 tier logic’s marketing software, PLATFORM³, Bayer was able to collect valuable data about their consumers’ buying behavior. The Data Capture & Analytics module provides meaningful insights into shoppers’ microsite activity for the duration of the promotion. Bayer is able to use this data to make well-informed business decisions for future promotions and continue driving sales, engagement, and customer loyalty.
