Beauty & Cosmetics: Buy $25, Get $25

An American skincare company who specializes in dermatologist-tested products like facial cleansers, scrubs, and creams faced a need for increased product purchasing and consumer first-party data. They partnered with 3 tier logic to launch a national gift with purchase program, exclusive to participating brand products and American consumers. This was the fourth activation the brand activated with 3 tier logic.

Strategy

3 tier logic used PLATFORM³ to create a microsite for the client’s gift with purchase promotion, leveraging the following modules:

  • Contests and Promotions

  • Purchase Receipt Validation

  • Gift Cards & Rewards

  • Data Capture & Analytics

When consumers purchase $25 worth of participating brand products in one or multiple transactions, they are eligible to receive a $25 digital gift card from participating brands such as Uber, Uber Eats, Doordash, Grubhub and Hulu. Through the Purchase Receipt Validation technology on PLATFORM³, customers can validate their purchase by registering and uploading a picture of their receipt(s) to the promotion microsite. Once their purchase has been validated, customers receive an email with their $25 digital gift card and instructions on how to redeem it. Consumers were limited to one reward per email address. 3 tier logic also provided the $25 digital gift card via its rewards catalog and also provided legal administration.

With PLATFORM³, the client was able to collect valuable information about their consumers’ purchasing behavior for the duration of the promotion. The Data Capture & Analytics module provides meaningful insights into users’ activity on the microsite. They are able to use this data to make strategic business decisions for future promotions and continue driving sales, ROI, and customer loyalty.
