vitafusion™ is an American gummy vitamin brand whose products are sold at retailers like Walgreens, Kroger, CVS Pharmacy, and Rite Aid. Some of their products include children’s and adult’s multivitamins, biotin, probiotics, and melatonin. Ferrera & Co and their client, vitafusion™, partnered with 3 tier logic to launch their national ‘Spa Getaway Sweepstakes’ promotion, exclusive to consumers in the United States.

Strategy

3 tier logic used PLATFORM³ to create a microsite for vitafusion™’s ‘Spa Getaway Sweepstakes’ promotion, leveraging the following modules:

  • Contests and Promotions

  • Purchase Receipt Validation

  • Data Capture & Analytics

When consumers purchase one qualifying vitafusion™ product from participating retailers, they are eligible to receive a sweepstakes entry for a chance to win a spa weekend getaway for two at Red Mountain Resort or 1 of 10 $50 Spafinder Wellness 365 digital gift cards. Through the Purchase Receipt Validation technology on PLATFORM³, customers can validate their purchase by registering and uploading a picture of their receipt to the promotion microsite. Once their purchase has been validated, customers receive an email confirming their sweepstakes entry. Consumers could also share the promotion on their Facebook and/or Twitter accounts for one additional sweepstakes entry per share. At the end of the promotion, 3 tier logic generated a random draw to select grand prize and secondary prize winners. 3 tier logic also provided the $50 Spafinder Wellness 365 digital gift cards through its digital rewards catalog.

Using PLATFORM³, vitafusion™ was able to gain meaningful insights into their consumers’ purchasing behavior for the duration of the promotion. The Data Capture & Analytics module provides real-time information on users’ microsite activity. vitafusion™ is able to use this data to make informed business decisions and continue driving awareness and sales.
